A BILL to amend chapter eleven of the code of West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as amended, by adding thereto a new article, designated article twenty-eight, relating to imposing a levy of fifty dollars on nonresident workers and designating moneys collected by the levy to the higher education grant program.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That chapter eleven of the code of West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as amended, be amended by adding thereto a new article, designated article twenty-eight, to read as follows:
ARTICLE 28. LEVY FOR NONRESIDENT WORKERS.
§11-28-1. Levy imposed on nonresident workers.
There shall be a levy of fifty dollars imposed upon every nonresident worker in this state. The proceeds of the levy shall be dedicated to the higher education grant program set forth in article five, chapter eighteen-c of this code.




NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to impose a levy of fifty dollars for nonresident workers and dedicate the proceeds of the levy to the higher education grant program.
